I was very nervous about buying them without sitting in them first and was pleasantly surprised after we put these bar stools together. They are heavy. well structured, and comfortable. I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for bar stools. It did take about 1 hour to put the first one together, but once you get used to which part belonged where, it was down to about 30-40 minutes per stool.
