The barstools are very sturdy and the swivel seat works really well. I agree with the previous comments regarding the fabric and that it is a little jagged along the seems. Overall, I like the barstools and would recommend them as long as yours don't come with shiny spots on the back. That's what happened when I received my order of 4. It seemed as though the styrofoam used for packing had rubbed against the finish and created shiny spots where it had actually polished the finish I couldn't get it off. [...] Some of my friends (males) thought I was being too picky, most of my female friends didn't. Now you know and you can decide!
BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Overall an okay bar stool, looks very nice in the picture and from afar but the actual quality of the stool up close as far as the wood and the fabric seat and how it is manufactured could be better. It just seems as if the big yellow sticker stuck on the underside of the chair, MADE IN CHINA, holds true when you take a close look at the stool. Its definately not manufactured with the same standards that it presents in the picture and description.

Everything shipped quickly and w/out damage to product. The upholstery on the bar stools was alittle jagged where it met the back of stools, but otherwise in good condition,. the color of the upholstery also looked different than the website photo (more green/khaki than gold) but since it still matched the space I was using them, I didn't return them. Overall favorable impression, would recommend to others.
