We tried out about half a dozen counter height stools in our new kitchen. This was the best of the lot. The combination of form AND function made it a good choice. Only one way I improve on this chair is to make it swivel. It's the only thing that's missing. The absence of the swivel means that you must slide it in, out, or around. It's a very sturdy piece so becasue it lacks the swivel, you must push into and away from the table which means that you have to add leg cushions on to the bottom of all 4 legs otherwise the chair will scratch the floor. We also ordered and returned the round seat version which is similar to the Delray but swivels. It wasn't nearly as comfortable. The Delray counter stool really is striking. If it swiveled, it would be the perfect stool.

This is a beautiful stylish chair. Very sturdy and easy to clean. Only wish that the feet didn't end in just metal. I'd be afraid to put it on a hardwood floor due to possible scratching. To move it you must pick it up and do so and set it down carefully on a tile floor. Still I love the looks of it

A friend of mine has these same stools so I was able to try them at her home. I have two small children and these barstools are sturdy and the microfiber cushions are easy to clean (they do get messy). They are extremely comfortable and the pewter finish goes well with the stainless steel of my appliances. These chairs are heavy so we did add some felt under the legs to prevent the hardwood floor from denting and scratching. I am very happy with this purchase!

This stool needs one minor tweak. Adjustable feet on the bottom of the legs to enable leveling and will accept flet floor protector pads.

I was in search of counter stools that would compliment the stainless steel throughout my kitchen. I will admit that I was a bit sketical purchasing online but once they arrived, I had no regrets. They are the perfect height for my counter. Not too high, not too low. It took less than and a half hour to but them both together. (without the help of my husband) The best part is that my kitchen absolutely gorgeous because of this new accessory!!!
